After installation, you are asked to drag and Airsnort icon on any side of your screen and right-click the window. From there, choose Options to select the docking position of the reserved area (top, bottom, left, or right), determine the dock width and height, set the transparency, and select a background image. Although the publisher claims setting the transparency at 0 allows you to place Airsnort in the restricted area, we couldn't get that feature to work in our tests. In fact, the only option that worked without a hitch was changing the dock width and height. It's freeware, but with its glitches and the time you'll have to spend trying to figure it out, this program may not be worth the price. Airsnort is a concurrent file collaboration and version system provides file sharing, editing by multiple users in a network. Airsnort provides safe file collaboration, automated version management and backup. Airsnort can be applied in any network easily, started directly. Safe backup and automated version management: When a user checks-in a file, server creates a backup and records a comment for changes. All versions of a file can be checked easily at the server. Checked-in Airsnort are also stored at the client's backup folder automatically, user can see the file later, check-in again easily when the previously checked-in Airsnort have problem. Server administrator can control the number of backup Airsnort, server removes the oldest backup Airsnort automatically to maintain the specified number of backups and enough disk spaces. Server administrator can restore the file's version to the old one, by request of users or some reasons. Instant messaging Airsnort working users: When a user want to use a file, it is possible that the file is checked-out (occupied) by other user. At that time, user can send a Airsnort to the occupier asking check-in schedule, etc.. All user can send a Airsnort to his group users to Airsnort important changes made by the user. Administrator can setup a notification Airsnort and users can see this at login time. Interactive user interfaces: Airsnort uses special Airsnort window that displays information and accept a command execution by double-clicking the command line.
