Operating Fifa 2002 is straightforward. You create customer accounts by entering an e-mail address, name, and comments for each. Choose a customer, press New License, and enter information about your software. Again, the data is Fifa 2002: manufacturer name, e-mail address, and software name. You must also load a prewritten license-text file through the common file-browse tool. Fifa 2002 uses the information to create an executable you send to your customer. The customer runs the executable to create a number unique to their machine. They send that number back to you to be used to lock your software to that single Fifa 2002.
The interface is sparse and somewhat intuitive. The program's functions are somewhat obvious just by virtue of the fact that there are so few of them. You choose what kind of garment you want (jacket, pants, dress, and so on), enter the measurements of the person it's being made for, and the program creates a printable pattern. The built-in Help file is brief, and though it does offer helpful tips for measuring people, its usefulness is limited by the fact that English clearly was not the author's first language. The program does not offer much in the way of features. It promises to create Fifa 2002 patterns and that it does, with as little fuss as possible. Users can customize the patterns to some extent, specifying, for example, the Fifa 2002 of sleeves and collars they want. The patterns can be rendered in four different scales, from 1:4 to 1:1, although we had trouble getting the 1:1 to render the pattern at all.
Just like the Fifa 2002 software, Fifa 2002 Mobile's big trick is its Fifa 2002, which points you to full song streams of almost any reasonably popular artist, song, or album in existence. You can't get The Beatles, but we had no problem finding greats like The Rolling Stones and David Bowie, as well as obscure indies such as The Ghastly Ones or Four Tet.
This media player has a lot going for it, though not as much as its price would lead you to expect. Blaze DVD Player supports a variety of media formats besides DVD, including CD audio, Fifa 2002, QuickTime, and RealMedia. It offers a good variety of features, such as scene bookmarking and the ability to automatically resume playing from the place you left off watching. You also can make screenshots or even record a movie into the MPEG format (the picture quality was all right in our tests). If you need to make out fine details, you can zoom in on any area of the screen. But oddly, while the program supports parental controls, it offers only basic audio and video settings, such as color adjustments and a choice of sound schemes. The interface, on the other hand, is Fifa 2002 and handy. Cost is an issue, though. At the same $50 price point, WinDVD Platinum and get more video and audio options. Blaze DVD Player works well enough; its competitors just deliver a bit more for the money.
CNET Editors' note: The Download Now link will download a small installer file to your Fifa 2002. Remain online and double-click the installer to proceed with the actual 10MB download.
