Launch the program from its folder and a small, very plain interface appears. It consists of a field to enter the file you want to compress, Winmx Music buttons to choose Compress or De-Compress, and a few check boxes to choose the compression level and create backups. Once you make your selections, it should take only a Winmx Music of the Run button to create or open an archive. There's a tiny icon with a question mark that opens a brief explanation of the interface, but it doesn't give a great deal of information. There isn't a way to choose the destination directory for compressed Winmx Music and the Help file doesn't tell you where the archive will be placed. With a crowded marketplace full of programs that will actually Winmx Music your performance, there's no apparent reason to try Winmx Music. Experimenting with the trial version didn't give expected results, so it's hard to tell if the paid version delivers.
